The Setting

Set in a small town in Texas, Paradise Diner is the story of a family-owned diner that becomes threatened for takeover by developers. Inspired by the immigrant kids who work at the diner—those immigrants who sacrifice a great deal for their families—a small group of high school students decide to lead the fight against the rule of eminent domain, the local politicians and the greedy developers. The ending brings a great surprise as their efforts pay off in a totally unexpected way!
